The Snowy day  

I woke up this morning, looking out my window yawning.

To my surprise the houses and roof tops were covered in snow drops.

Big fluffy blobs of snow on this wintery day,

I was so excited I couldn’t wait to play.

Mummy said “school is of today!” “Yipeee…” I yelled

“than lets go and play! on The snowy day.”

On with my wellies, gloves, hat and scarf,

I ran and got my sledge trying not to laugh.

Mummy slips over to the ground Dad goes bop!

with a snowball nice and round.

It’s all lots of fun on the sledge today Oh how I enjoyed

The snowy day.

Night time comes there is still lots of snow on the ground,

we go to bed all cosy and warm smiling about the day as it’s drawn.
