2015-2016

Key Area

To ensure that our EYFS is providing the best possible experiences for our children.

 

2. (Quality of teaching, learning and assessment)

To develop assessment, monitoring and marking of all pupils learning

 

3. To raise the profile of writing across all subjects.

 

4. (Effectiveness of leadership and management)

Develop and inspire leaders and leadership at all levels.

 

5. (Personal development, behaviour and welfare)

Introduce Philosophy for Children (P4C) and quality, high level questioning across the school. 

 

6. Develop the use of computing across all curriculum areas.

 

7. Develop the use of Pupil Voice in children’s learning, school council, and collective worship.

These are the key areas for our school this academic year.  The School Improvement Plan has detailed, strategic plans to achieve each of the areas.

2014-2015

Key areas-

 

1. Develop the skill and enjoyment of writing across the school using Talk for Writing (T4W).

 

2. Ensure that progress and understanding of SPAG is the best it can be for all children.

 

3. To ensure a smooth transition to the new National Curriculum developing a CURRICULUM FOR ALL.

 

4. To develop and embed an assessment system that has impact on teaching and learning across the school.

 

5. To develop a new website that is user friendly and promotes our school in the very best light.

 

6. To ensure that our EYFS is providing the best possible experiences for our children.
