Week 1 - Our topic for this term is the seaside. We have lots going on this term with the Olympic fortnight over the next two weeks followed by an Art & DT week. We have also been busy training for Sports Day in our PE lessons. Watch this space for photos over the coming weeks of all the fun!

We worked as a team to learn how to speed stack!
Indoor Curling - We learnt how to play Curling. We had a lot of fun smiles all round!
Sports Day 24th June - Celebrating with our medals after a successful sports day!
Tiempo Dance - We had a lot of fun learning some new dance moves. Then we took part in a whole school dance in the playground.
Week 4 - Mr Elgar brought in his collection of animal skulls to show us. We all had the chance to hold them and compare the sizes of different animal skulls.
Week 4 - Art & Design Technology themed Week. We have had a busy week and have had the opportunity to make clay leaves with local artist Annie Begley. We have also made sea creatures using different coloured film. We will continue the creative theme next week making sunflower sculptures and finishing our moving vehicles. Week 4 - Celebrating HM The Queen's 90th Birthday tea party in style!
Week 5- We had a visit from the Dogs Trust and learnt about how to care for dogs. On Friday we went to listen to The Carnival of the Animals Concert and learnt about the different sounds made by different instruments in the orchestra. After that we had a picnic on The Leas and walked to the Coastal Park to play on the Pirate Ship. We really enjoyed our day out in Folkestone. Thank you Mr File for organising such a fun day out!
Week 6 - Our Trip. We have had a lot of fun doing lots of activities: building a bee, the pollination game, sculpture hunt, bug hunt, making a hexagon clay tile and of course travelling on a double decker bus!
