This week, we went to see the organ at St Mary's Church. Anthony played us some contrasting tunes and we listened carefully to the music. We looked at the organ pipes and went up to have a turn playing on the organ too! While we were there, we had a look and sketched some of the features of the church. It was a wonderful experience and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
In DT this week we continued to learn about bridges. We designed and made beam and arch bridges using card balanced on books! We then tested how strong our bridges were with weights and tried different designs to see if we could make them stronger.
