Happy Birthday Ron!
We have had so much fun celebrating Ron's birthday - we had cake and party games too!
Tennis
The children really enjoyed their tennis session with Chris. They had fun learning about a forehand, backhand, volley and smash!
The reception children have been reading The Rainbow Fish. We talked about whether we would share our precious things. We then used pipets and coloured water to create beautiful scales for the fish!
English
We have been singing a days of the week song and working out the order of the days of the week.
Maths
We have been using a ten frame and a number line to find 1 less.
Science
Today we have been looking at properties of materials. The children were asked to design a feely toy with different textures that a baby could touch. It was great to hear the reasoning why certain materials had been used, all children were able to describe the properties of their chosen materials.
