This week we have been learning about the stages in the life of a plant. We have written sentences to sequence the order which things happen. We are now writing with capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.
Phonics is now very much consolidating and using the sounds we have already learnt. We are now blending with digraphs in words and reading ccvc and cvcc words.
Maths - we are working within 20 playing lots of games designed to recognise and order the numbers and read teen numbers.
In PE we have been learning the skills needed to throw and catch, such as look at the ball or bean bag. The children are really improving their skills with practise.
