In English this week we have been having fun exploring different tradtional tales! We have talked about their common features. We are focussing on Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children have sequenced the story and have orally retold the story. Tomorrow (Friday) they will be writing the first part of the story using adverbs of time.

In Maths we have been subtracting! We have looked at patterns in the numbers as we have subtracted the same 1-digit number from different multiples of 10. We have subtracted across a multiple of 10 and today we have been finding 10 more and 10 less than different numbers.

This term the children will be working towards making their own delicious Christmas biscuits by selecting their own ingredients and planning their recipie. 

Today we talked about having a balanced diet and looked at 5 different food groups. Then they had the challenge of putting different foods into the correct food groups.
