Topic
Today the children found out how Scott got the South Pole and what happenend next. They became history dectectives and had to re-tell his story by putting a selection of pictures in order.
VE Day
We started the morning observing a one minute silence on the playground whilst a special VE Day flag was raised. We then listened to Elizabeth talking in the hall about her memories of life as a child during the war. This afternoon the children made their own Spitfire plane and had fun flying them outside.
