Star of the Week

This weeks Star of the Week is Aaron. Well done this week Aaron, you have worked hard in maths counting pounds and pence and you impressed me by using different coins to find the same amount. You have really tried your best to come into class happily and it is lovely to see your smiling face in the mornings! Well done Aaron, keep it up!

Today we went on a bus ride through London. The children had to desrcibe what they could see, hear, feel and smell on the journey. 

Guided Reading

We have started our guided reading book The street beneath my feet by Charlotte Guillain and Yuval Zommer. To set the context for the book we went outside to dig up some earth and discussed what we might find in the earth. We also talked about what we would find if we kept digging and digging!
