Topic
We are continuing to find out more about China. We are so lucky in Willows as Mrs Collins has been to China so she has been telling the children more about the captial city Beijing and the difference between the big city and the countryside. She showed us lots of pictures and we tried on a traditional hat worn by people working in the rice fields.
Topic
The children have been making Chinese lanterns.

The children enjoyed tag rugby in the sunshine today!
Maths
The children have been partitioning numbers to 50 into tens and ones.
English
We have started reading our book 'Toys in Space' by Mini Grey. We studied the picture of the night sky and imagined we were one of the toys lying on the grass staring up at the night sky for the first time.
