Elham Teddy Bear Fundraiser

Elham Bears have come to visit our school to try and lift your spirits and bring a smile to all your faces through these really difficult times.  They arrived over half term whilst you were at home but they have been very busy helping Mr File and all the staff around the school.  They especially enjoyed looking around all your classrooms and causing chaos in Mr File’s office!  Have a look at the photos on the Elham Primary Facebook page!

Very soon, they will be going to live in their new homes as every single child at Elham Primary School will receive one of them as a reminder of how we have supported each other and worked as a team – Team Elham!

As you know, last year the Summer Fayre did not take place, as well as all the other fun days we normally celebrate together as a school.  These events raise money which the school uses to pay for extra fun activities for the children to enjoy.  Therefore, we would be really grateful if you would help us raise some much needed funds.  Wouldn’t it be beartastic if we were able to raise £1,000?!  If you are able to donate, please visit our Go Fund Me page to donate £10 for a bear, or give whatever you can spare.  The link for our Go Fund Me page is (please copy and paste this into your search engine):

There are a few extra bears available which you might like to purchase to give to someone in the community to say thank you for all they have done, or give to a friend or relative.  Please contact the Sally Lewis in the school office 01303 840325 or to place your order.  The cost of the Bears is a minimum donation of £10 each and all proceeds will go directly to school.  Payment for these extra bears can be made either by cheque made payable to Elham Primary School, or cash.

Alternatively, you may choose to sponsor a bear or a family of bears and not actually receive them - we will ensure these bears get adopted and find a kind, loving child to care for them.  We would suggest a minimum donation of £10 per bear.

Funding for the bears has been kindly donated by a few local organisations who are keen to support the school in raising money.  We would like to say an enormous thank you to the following:

Elham Residents’ Association                                Reliable Networks
