Welcome back to Term 3! We hope you had an enjoyable Christmas holiday.
We would all like to thank you so very much for the Christmas gifts and cards that you generously gave, we were very touched.
Please note that this term, there is a change to our timetable - spelling tests will now take place on Thursday mornings. There will be no change to our normal homework routine - see below in the Useful Information section.

Useful Information
Reading
Please read daily. Reading Records will be collected in on a Tuesday to check – if no reading recorded (at least 3 times a week) children will stay in to read for 15 mins during lunchtime play.
Spellings weekly
Spelling will be sent home on Fridays and should be handed in the following Thursday. They are taken from NC Statutory spelling lists for Year 3 & 4.
If spelling homework is not handed in children will stay in to complete it during their lunchtime play.
There will be a spelling test every Thursday morning.
Tables weekly
Please practise times tables! There will be a test each Tuesday. Login to Times Tables Rockstars to practise!
Times Tables
All of the children work towards our Bronze Badge to begin with and move up as they complete every question correctly:
Test 1 is 2, 5, 10 x tables (50 questions)
Test 2 is 3, 4, 6 x tables
Test 3 is 7, 8, 9 x tables
Silver 1: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x and divide
Silver 2: 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 11x, 12x and divide
Silver 3: all x tables (100 questions)
Gold 1: Multiplication of larger numbers
Gold 2: Multiplication and division of even larger numbers
Gold 3: Multipilcation of even larger numbers!
