Week 5
Acorns had our first PE session this week. We learnt about sitting in a space, travelling around the room in different ways and balancing.
We learnt the words we need to measure today. We found things in the classroom which were longer and shorter than 5 cubes.
Lots of exploring at forest school this week. The children are now getting used to the environment and happy to go off and decide what to do. As an activity we collected leaves and tried to match them to our leaf chart.
We made the first letter of our names in tissue, which we screwed up and stuck on. We also used scissors to cut out flags and had a bit of playdough disco fun. All really good for fine motor control.
