This weeks Star of the Week is Alec. I am so impressed with the progress you are making with your reading this term. You have been focussed in class and this week I really enjoyed reading your piece of writing in the role as Goldilocks. Well done Alec - keep it up!

Table of the Week

Science Week

We had a fun start to Science Week making hoop gliders. The children had a selection of straws to make gilders with and we then tested out which ones flew the furthest. 

Owl Experience

The children really enjoyed seeing the owls today. 

Hydroponics in the classroom

In science we discussed the concept of hydroponics. The children then planted a bean in bag and attached it to the window. We also attached a bean facing the wrong way, one with no water and one placed in a cupboard and predicted what will happen. 

Science Day

The children had a great day visiting each class in the school and participating in a variety of exciting science activities. 

PE

More basketball skills in PE today. 

Science Magician

The children loved the science magic session with Tony - so did I!
