Flynn you have worked so hard this week and we have enjoyed the contribution you have made to our class discussions. We have been impressed by your enthusiasm during our topic lesson this week and the facts you wrote about Mary Anning were impressive. Well done!
In Topic we have been finding out about the life of Mary Anning through the story Stone Girl Bone Girl. Mary Anning was a little girl who made an important prehistoric discovery - she found a fossil of an Ichthyosaurus, a sea creature!
Here are a selection of fossils the children have bought in to show us. Thank you!

In Geography the children are learning about seasonal change. We have looked at the different weather types each season brings and today they painted lego characters in clothes, according to what the weather was like.
At the same time the children have been learning how to use the correct brush stroke and now to keep the pallets clean when changing from one colour to another.
