Welcome
Welcome to Elham Church of England Primary School, which has been at the heart of Elham village for over one hundred years.
I am proud to lead this wonderful school at the heart of our village community — a place where Faith, Achievement, Community, and Empathy guide everything we do.
At Elham, our first priority is that every child feels safe, happy and valued. We know that children can only learn when they feel safe, secure and cared for. Trust and respect underpin everything we do, and we work hard to create a nurturing environment where every pupil can flourish. We are an inclusive school welcoming children of all levels, faiths and backgrounds.
We are committed to achievement for all. Every child who joins Elham brings their own unique gifts and potential, and our aim is to help each one discover and develop those talents. Through a broad, inspiring and inclusive curriculum, we encourage our pupils to aim high, to persevere with purpose, and to take pride in their progress. Learning here is not just about knowledge — it is about curiosity, creativity and character. Our children leave our school well prepared for their next steps, with a passion for learning and an ambition to be the best.
As a village school, our sense of community is at the heart of who we are. We know our children and families personally, and we value the strong relationships that grow between home, school and church. As a small school, every child is known by name and supported with what they need to flourish. Together, we ensure that our children learn what it means to care for one another, to act with empathy, and to make a positive difference in the world around them.
Rooted in Christian faith and love, Elham Church of England Primary School is a place where all are welcomed, supported and inspired to become their best selves — both now and in the future.
We look forward to welcoming you and your child to our school family.
