SB weekly plan week 6
What a busy and successful week we've had in Silver Birch Class! Firstly, well done to the whole class for their involvement and singing in our Harvest Festival service at church on Tuesday!
In French this week, the children enjoyed practising counting to10 in French, maybe you can do this at home? They enjoy playing the interactive games in French!
In Maths, we have been learning about area and the Year 3 children enjoyed making shapes with the cubes and finding the area of a 2D surface.
In RE we have been learning that God is holy and loving. The children had to sort some vocabulary into two lists and consider what the world would be like if God were only holy without being loving and vice versa. They had some brilliant insights!
We have come to the end of our Music topic: The Blues. This week, the children learned to play 'The Swngfish Blues' on the glockenspiels.
Finally in Art we were adding paint to our cave backgrounds!
