In Art we are continuing to find out about the artist Andy Goldsworthy.
We looked at some of Andy's artwork and discussed how he often uses curves in his work, like circles and spirals. We then went outside to collect some natural materials and had a go at making our own pieces of artwork using spirals and circles.
The children have enjoyed painting their clay sculptures they made during Arts week. The sculptures have really come to life!
In computing the children are learning to do animations on ipads. This week they have learned what a sprite is and how to move it using blocks.
In maths this week the children are working on number again, this time up to one hundred. We have sorted numbers into tens and ones to make them easier to count, using a variety of manipulatives.
