We had a lovely visit from 'Bendy Ian'. He spoke about how old toys worked and their function and got them to behave physically like the toys: they pretended to be spinning tops, kites, trains and a wind-up top toy.
The children have been writing programs and testing them using the Beebots. They have also learned to write two different programs to get the Beebot to the same place!
What a lovely last day of term we have all had. The children were very excited to show their toys and share them together this morning.
The dance workshop was great fun, we used up lots of energy in preparation for our lunch!
Some groovy moves were going on.
A delicious lunch was enjoyed by everyone. It is so lovely to take Hazel Class out as they have such excellent manners and sensible behaviour. We were really spoilt with the huge cupcakes! A massive thank you to the PTA for funding this visit and also to Sharon at the Cosy Tearooms for looking after us so well! Have a lovely half term and see you back on Tuesday 21st February.
