We've had a fantastic last week of the term. Being Book Week, we have had 3 different authors visit us. One was based on historical non-fiction, one was about illustrations of a book, and in the other we did some great writing. We enjoyed as always our session with Ian from Kic Theatre, where we became Stone Age people, exploring our environment and learning to survive. At the end of the week we enjoyed some more drama and music activities with the Tales from the Book of Life. In between all of this fun, we have also had our normal lessons where we've been creating digital root patterns in maths and having a whaling debate in English. We made some beautiful stained glass window designs in RE depicting what God may be like if he was just Holy, or just Loving. The children all looked fabulous in their costumes on Friday - well done all for making a great effort.
There are no spellings set for over the half term. Please continue reading for pleasure and learning times tables.
Enjoy the break and see you all next term,
