Ukrainian Day!

We have had a fantastic Ukranian Day. It started with an amazing assembly where Ukranian pupils in our school shared information about their country. We had a visiting choir of Ukranian ladies who sang us an amazing folk song which we thoroughly enjoyed - especially clapping along!

In our classroom we enjoyed finding out more about Ukraine, investigating facts, creating factfiles, completing wordsearches and colouring sheets. We also learnt a little bit of Ukranian language and made some beautiful flower headbands!
