In RE we have been focusing on the Creation and what it means to Christians. Today we talked about if someone believes in God what they might say about it? The children then made connections between Christian ideas of God as creator and the importance for everyone (not just Christians) of being grateful for what we have. We explored this through an activity with grapes. The children thought about growing, harvesting and transporting the grapes and then thought about how they should eat them, quickly without a thought or slowly, touching, feeling, tasting - being aware of what they are eating. The children really enjoyed this activity!

In topic this week Mrs Collins continued telling the children about her amazing trip to China. We looked a variety of traditional clothing and noticed the pattern on one of the robes had dragons on it!
