This week in maths we have been multiplying and dividing by multiples of 10. We have been using our times tables facts to help us, and checking that our answers make sense. We have also been beginning to learn about different types of angles. In English we started to read Goodnight Mr Tom, and then explored evacuation in more detail. Furthermore, we have been practicing applying adjectives to add interest to a sentence. We started our cricket sessions with Molly, and practised lots of different skills. In Science we sorted electrical and non-electrical appliances, and in French revisited days of the week. In topic we have continued to learn about WW2, this week we focused on two significant figures: Chamberlain and Churchill. Our learning about Judaism in RE this week moved on to discovering more about the Jewish place of worship, the synagogue. Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their first forest school session of the year!
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Hall and Miss Laslett
