We have had quite an active last day in Acorn class today. This morning we went to forest school, it was a perfect day for it. Sunny and calm. The children were all super busy with their activities. We found lots of evidence of animals and creatures living there. This afternoon we did PE and are really beginning to grasp the concept of team games.
Earlier in the week we had a look for dandelion clocks, a great way to see seed dispersal in action. Ask your child to list a few ways that seed move around, its very clever.
We have also thought about counting in 2s. We counted our shoes and socks and realized it is quite a quick way to get to 20.
