Week 4
This week we have been continuing our learning about life cycles. We have been watching our caterpillars and they have now turned into chrysalis. We are waiting to finally see what kind of butterflies they will be. Our tadpoles are still much the same, I wonder which will change first.
We have thought about using words to describe butterflies in our sentence writing this week. We have also looked at the wings of butterflies to learn how symmetrical patterns work, and have made our own patterns using paints and peg boards.
We braved the rain on Friday and went to Forest School, The children still had a great time building dens and animal homes and didn't really notice the weather.
