What a fantastic session with Ian from Kik Theatre - the children really immersed themselves in the story of the Anglo Saxon Boy and behaved impeccably! Well done to everyone!
We dramatised scenes such as : Building a Saxon village, preparing for a journey, making camp, finding the destroyed village, entering the Great Hall at York, meeting Uncle Tostig and the Archbishop of York.
We have had a wonderful WOW day! The children looked amazing in their Anglo Saxon and Viking costumes! We had a great time junk modelling and together we made an anglo saxon village.
