We are looking at 3D shapes in maths this week, in and around the classroom. The children will be able to tell you the names of many 3D shapes and their properties. Can you tell from the photographs what shapes they were focusing on?
This week we are continuing to set the table for a celebration!
Early morning work for the children this term is an opportunity for them to sort numbers and learn the order of the letters of the alphabet.
The focus in computing is now learning how to use e-books. The children spent a happy half hour browsing through Clifford the Big Red Dog books, reading and listening to the stories.
The children were narrating and acting out the story of the nativity this week. They took it in turns to be different characters and the narrator.
We have been perfecting our 'number bonds' song to help the children remember their number bonds to ten.

And finally, here are some pictures of the wonderful things your children do at home and bring into school to show the rest of the class!
