Arts week was such fun for Acorn Class.
We started with a visit from an artist, he really inspired the children with his creativity and set the tone for a fabulous week.
Our clay workshop at forest school was great. The children were so careful and creative and all made a super ceramic sculpture.
African drumming at forest school was fabulous. The children could repeat and follow a beat and drum in time. Their listening to instructions was great and really helped them to learn.
Our Junk modelling challenge was great, the children spent ages working out how they wanted to make their creations. The finished results are amazing!
What a fab lunch we had at the Cosy Tearooms. The children won this treat for raising the most money for the sponsored bounce.
We had some lovely food and everyone was super well behaved.
Miss Knight and I were very proud of the children, they were a super example of Elham School at its best.
To finish off the week we had a dance workshop where the children learnt lots of dance steps and put them together to form a sequence.
Thank you so much to Mrs Ferguson and Mrs Lewis for sorting out all of the organisation of such a great week we all had a fabulous time and learnt loads of new things.
