This week our learning has been led by the story The Three Billy Goats Gruff. We learnt the repeating phrases in the story and used some of the ideas within our learning. We had great fun making bridges for the goats to cross over. This eventually turned into making Jurassic land for the dinosaurs which was great as it incorporated solving problems for a dinosaur habitat. We ordered the story in English and had a go at writing related words such as troll, big, and initial sounds for bridge and goat. In maths we did lots of counting matching numerals to groups of objects and numicon and made repeating patterns.
