This week our learning has been based around The Gruffalo's Child, although Nativity has been creeping in a bit, as is always the case at this time of year,

We have labelled the Gruffalo's Child trying to use the sounds we have learnt.

We are working on a lot of fine motor control at the moment to help the children write down the sounds that they know.

Our maths has been looking at subtraction, we have done this with groups of objects.

We have learnt nearly all of our single phonemes now so for the next couple of weeks we will be consolidating these before moving on to digraphs in the New Year.
