Silver Birch and Beech classes had a fantastic day out at Dover Castle! We went into the WW2 hospital tunnels and learnt a lot of interesting information about what happened at Dover during the war. We also explored the castle Keep, we saw the well, garderobe (toilet!), Kings bedchamber, banquet hall, kitchen with interactive displays. We went up to the very windy battlements! We saw the Roman lighthouse which dates to the 1st century AD!
Well done everyone, we've had a busy but exciting term. We hope you all enjoy your Easter holidays!
