This week in Maths we have been using column subtractions and solving some very tricky word problems. In English we wrote animal descriptions and edited these, sharing ideas together of how we can add to and improve sentences. In Topic we became historical theorists; discussing and debating why Stonehenge was built and what it is for. In Computing we thought about different reasons why images are changed. We changed some images using different adjustments to make pictures look, for example, more spooky or suitable for children. We visited the church on Thursday to learn about the different areas, objects and artefacts that show Christians believe God is worth worshipping. Graham, one of our school governors, gave us a brilliant tour with lots of information about the church. In PSHE we did some role plays with the theme of teamwork. We thought about the consequences of what happens when a team doesn't work well together, and how this can be resolved. Getting older was our title in Science, and we learnt about the physical changes that can happen to our bodies as we age. The children have all worked so hard this week with their learning, and we have had some fantastic discussions. Have a lovely weekend.
