This week in Maths we have begun to use calculations to subtract and to find the difference by counting on. We have also started to look at the concept of measure, starting with length. In English, we have been using commas in lists and have been analysing texts to help us with our understanding of what we've been reading. In Topic, we found out lots about Roman gods and goddesses; who they all were, and created our own Roman god. In RE we explored the history and work of the Salvation Army. Where it all began, by whom, and what work they do now to help others and spread the word of God. We had a really interesting discussion during PSHE around the fact that men and women can do any job they want; that the role isn't based on gender but what skills, attributions and attitudes you have.
