Happy New Year!

Many thanks for all of your lovely Christmas gifts and cards! I hope you have all had a restful holiday and are ready to begin our new term!

It was with sadness that we said goodbye and good luck to Mrs Slingsby last term. We are looking forward to working with Mrs Cronin this year and we all extend her the warmest welcome!

Reading records are collected on Monday morning. Please encourage your child to read every day for about 20 minutes and record your comments in the reading record.

PE this term will continue on Wednesday afternoons, so please send your child dressed appropriately in school PE kit in the morning. They will be doing gymnastics this term.

Times tables test is on Wednesday - please help your child to learn the tables for the test they are on - see link above for which tables are included in which test as well as useful websites for games etc

Spellings are sent home on Friday and tested on the following Friday. You can find spellings lists on the appropriate tab above. Please help your child to find a quiet time to learn their spellings - sometimes its easier to just focus on a couple a day, or find the word family. Practise really does make perfect!
