We have had such an amazing day!
The street dance session was so much fun. The children really enjoyed themselves (so did the grown ups!)

The drumming workshop was a magical experience. The children really engaged, everyone was smiling as they played their drum and we made some great sounds!

The children had a fantastic time making clay sculptures with Annie. The children used leaves to press into the clay to create a beautiful clay leaf and then some made hedgehogs and snails to go on their leaf. The creations will air dry and the children will get to paint them!
Our environmental junk modelling area is up and running for this term. The children have made recycling bins, plastic crushers and bird houses.
The children were very impressed with Shane Record, who came and painted to the whole school on Monday morning. Shane Record, in turn, was very impressed with the children and their in-depth questioning! You can see his picture take form below.
We showed Shane Ella's picture of the Tiger Who came to Tea and he was very complimentary as he has never painted a cat before.
This term's artist is Paul Cezanne. The children had a tutorial and produced their own 'still life' pictures in the style of Cezanne.
