The children have used new vocabulary to describe 2D shapes, including polygons, oblong, flat and curved.  They have sorted shapes to fit certain criteria, for example 'polygon' and 'not polygon'.

We are writing spine poems this week.  Our first is about a cake!  Look at all the words the children thought of, with a little help from the teacher.

We are continuing to use the bottle tops some of you are kindly sending in.  This week the children made creatures with repeating patterns.

In hockey  children practised hit passes, push passes and slapping passes (because of the noise it makes when you hit it).
