The children had a great time at The Three Hills today. We did lots of different sporting activities. The children were very well behaved and joined in with everything.
Its been a super sporty week for Acorns. First the Three Hills, then on Friday we learnt so much in our PE session. I think we were all inspired by our trip out of school.
We learnt how to use the apparatus safely and how to travel along in different ways. We learnt different ways to balance and really importantly how to jump correctly bending our knees.
Our literacy learning has been thinking of how to ask questions. Its really hard with the children often stating a fact and not asking a question. We need to keep practising that one.
Our maths has been thinking about addition and adding two numbers together.
We continued our phonic learning by beginning digraphs. These are sounds which contain 2 letters such as ch, sh and qu.
