Hello Everyone
We are definitely getting into the Christmas mood at the moment. Last week with Mrs Short we used cardboard nets of cubes to make boxes for our class Christmas tree. We decorated them and gave each a number and wrote a Christmas greeting to put inside our boxes. Mrs Short added some sweets to each box and 'voila!' we had a home-made Advent calendar. At the end of each day, that day's box will be opened by the child who has been allocated that date. They get to read out the note from the child who made the box and take home the sweets.
We were also busy bees this week making Christmas greeting posters for Mr File. He will be putting them all together to create a seasonal video (one per class). Have a look at our pictures below and watch out for the video coming soon to the school website and our Facebook page.
Gold Awards have recently been given to Elliot, Sarah, Grace, Eddie, Joanna and Scarlett for writing super letters in RE persuading me to support a Christian charity. Well done everyone!
We have lots more Christmas crafts to enjoy making over the next two weeks and don't forget that it's Christmas pantomime day this coming Friday. It's your chance to dress up as your favourite pantomime character. What will you all come as? We are really looking forward to seeing you all in your costumes!
In the meantime, keep working hard and stay safe.
Best wishes
Mrs Short and Mrs Godden xx
