Week 1
This week our learning has been based around firework night. We have written some words for the noises that fireworks make using the sounds we have learnt such as 'pop'
Our number learning has been addition. We have added 2 groups together. We have also used the Numicon to order and to add.
We have made some super fireworks and firework pictures and of course we have talked a lot about safety.
We had a good PE session where we learnt to stay in our own spaces, how to travel and how to balance. We observed what happens to our bodies when we exercise and felt where our hearts beat faster when we are a bit puffed out.
We have been consolidating the sounds that we have already learnt and have been trying to make them into words.
We are beginning to learn about what the story of the Nativity means to Christians and why we perform a Nativity play at Christmas time.
