Good afternoon everyone

 

Well, we have finished our first full week back at school and everybody seems to have got back into the rhythm of life in class. Oak have all worked hard this week and Mrs Short saw some lovely writing from the children in English this week. In Maths with Mrs Godden we have been investigating the angles inside triangles and quadrilaterals and learning how to calculate the size of missing angles. We ended our week on Friday afternoon with Mr File taking our assembly over Zoom. It is strange seeing everyone in their own classes rather than us all being in the hall together, but we have to adapt to our ever-changing times.

 

A special mention was given to these children in assembly this week:

 

Jack for always working hard and trying his best.

Grace for an excellent start to Year 6 - super concentration and participation in all lessons.

 

Well done Jack and Grace!
