The children have started innovating their story of The Tiger who came to Tea.  First of all they watched their teacher changing the story, then they did their own.

In Computing the children have learned to key in their user names and passwords in order to log onto a lap top.  They have found out more about the keyboard and learned how to use the backspace bar, enter (return) and the cursor.

In DT this term we will be creating boats that float and today's focus was on which everyday objects float and sink.

Maths

We have been looking at recognising and adding equal groups this week in maths. We are learning how to fill in the stem sentence "There are -----  equal groups of ----". The children have been finding this tricky so we went outside to practice finding different objects to put in to groups and practice saying our sentence verbally. 

Kings Coronation

We learnt all about the Kings Coronation today. We then used our amazing artistic skills to paint a portrait of the King which we will finish off next week for our classroom display.
