Our new book this term is 'I want my hat back' by John Klassen. It is all about a bear who... has lost his hat! The children asked him questions about what his hat was like and eventually they found out that Amelia had it!
You may have noticed a certain lack of finger spaces, capital letters and question marks! We are working on those this week.
Our topic this term in Science is 'Our Bodies', in particular the senses. Today we reminded ourselves of all the different parts of the body, including some new words, such as lung, thigh, armpit, forehead and calf.
Topic
This term we will be looking at different types of celebrations. Today we learnt why bonfire night is held on the 5th of November each year and how it came about. The children then had great fun creating their own firework pictures using pastels and lots of glitter!!
