Welcome back to the last term of this academic year!

The children have been busy from the word go this week and had lots of fun today at the launch of book week with Ian from Kic theatre. We followed the journey of a river from source to mouth and built boats to travel down some rivers on adventures! We had a gentle paddle down the river and a picnic in The Wind in The Willows and enjoyed splashing around in the chocolate river from Charlie and the Chocolate factory. The children all worked well in their groups and there was lots of discussion about the books and geographical features of the rivers.

We are looking forward to the other activities planned next week - especially our dressing up day on friday as a character from another land. We can't wait to see their ideas from many different books!
