Our book week has started and a big thank you to Flynn's mum for coming in and sharing her favourite story with us on Monday.
We were very lucky to have a visit from Ian from KIC Theatre today. He took us on a wonderful journey with his story of 'Elmer the Elephant'. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it was lovely to see them all taking part.
We really enjoyed our visit from Jo Clarke today, she is the author of the book "Spellboda". She got us to close our eyes and use our imagination to picture a snow covered wood and asked us what we were doing in there.
Flossie - "I was doing lots of press-ups to keep fit".
Flynn "I was standing and watching a black fox hide behind the trees".
Kira "I looked up and saw a rainbow and the snow".
Wow Acorns your costumes are all amazing! All the children had great fun making their 'Elmer' masks today.
Have a fabulous half term and a well deserved rest. See you all on the 31st October.
