This week we have been working on a dialogue between the Artful Dodger and Oliver Twist in English - the children have worked hard on complex sentences and punctuation.
In Maths we have been working on division and found that times tables are a real help for dividing - make sure you keep practising them everyone! Year 4s did their Satutory Times Tables tests on the computers with Mrs Hall today. Well done Year 4.
In Science we have been investigating how to keep an ice cube cool - pretty tricky given today's heat!
We're all looking forward tp Sports Day tomorrow, which is set to be lots of fun, with Pedal Karts, Basketball, Archery, Powerbounce, as well as the traditional sack race and egg and spoon. We will of course have running races too and we hope that everyone will participate and enjoy the day! Parents are invited to stay and picnic with their children on the field afterwards. We look forward to seeing you there!
