Forest School Learning
Our Forest School round house is looking lovely this year. Everything has grown in beautifully and it now looks like it has always been there.
Super land art by Hazel class
Hazel class did a great job drawing with charcoal made from the forest school fire. The children couldn't believe that they could draw with burnt wood.
We are very proud to be able to offer Forest School Learning for the children at our school. With help from The Big Lottery we have been able to build a roundhouse and purchase the resources and training to ensure that this is done well.
A Forest School (FS) Handbook for Elham Church of England Primary School has been compiled to outline the policies and procedures that are in place to keep everyone involved in our FS safe.
This handbook has been written alongside other school policies and procedures and these should be read in conjunction with this document. The handbook will be read by all adults who have a regular role in FS learning. The handbook is a working document and will be reviewed regularly and at least annually.
Some of the documents are set out here.
