We have had an amazing WOW day!

The children's costumes are fabulous and each child took a turn to introduce who they had dressed up as (so did Mrs Grady and Mrs Fitzgerald)

We then had a workshop delivered by Tales from the Book of Life. The workshop focused on how to dramatise non-fiction concepts that we come across in every day life.

Look at our amazing piggy twirlers!

This term we have been looking at Google Earth in order to understand what an aerial view is.  The children played on different maps with cars and animals and then created their own aerial views of Elham.

ERIC time in class today.  After lunch all children read their levelled reading books to themselves.  It calms them down after lunch break and enables us to listen to a few of them.

Ian's Kik Theatre was at school and the children had a great time being farm animals!

Catherine came and read her lovely book to us about Peter the pony.  It was a story about kindness and seeing what is special in other children.  The children have brought home a form in case you want to order the book, £2.50 of which will go to Children in Need.

Each term the school focuses on a different artist.  This term the artist is Paul Klee.  Hazel class recreated one of his paintings, using bottletops.
