As part of our RE this term we are looking at Advent and the meaning of Christmas. The children have been finding out about Reverse Advent calendars and they would like to make donations to the local food bank. Mr File has agreed that we can collect food which will be quarantined and then taken to the foodbank in Ashford for distribution in Folkestone, Romney Marsh and the Shepway area.
The following are items that are in greatest need:
Tinned Meat (Curry, Chilli, Meat Balls, Hot Dogs, Pies, Etc.)
Long Life Milk
Tinned Veg (Peas, Carrots, Potatoes, Etc.)
Tinned Desserts (Fruit, Custard, Rice Pudding, Etc.)
Soups (Tinned & Packets
Hygiene & Baby Products

There is absolutely NO obligation to send donations, and we are grateful for anything you can spare.

Have a lovely weekend!
We've been doing some work on division this morning, so the children need to be really fluent with their times tables - they enjoyed using the following for practise this morning and can also use the Topmarks site for games to practise tables and number fluency:
