Week ending 17.12.21
We had another very busy week, with two performances of our Nativity Play, 'It's a Baby!'. The children were amazing and sang their hearts out to the parents at home. we were very proud of them!
We have also saved all our Christmas art and craft to the last week and had great fun making cards, calendars, crowns, lanterns and mini Christmas trees!
On Friday, we learned about Christingle and made our Christingles for our service in the afternoon.
As the children had earned 20 marbles for the jar, we were able to have a class party: we watched Arthur Christmas and ate lots of party food!
We had a lovely surprise when we heard loud stamping on the roof and then Mrs. Lewis and Mrs. Greenwood came rushing in to say it had been snowing in the car park and they had found a bundle of letters addressed to Willows! They were from Santa!
What have we learned this week?
'I learned to write a letter to Father Christmas.'
'I learned the secret address for Santa, from Mrs. Ferguson.'
'I learned to divide by numbers greater than 2.'
'I learned how to make snowflakes.'
'I learned how to use tabs to stick cardboard shapes together.'
'I learned that we need to exercise to keep healthy.'
