We started the week by adding and subtracting fractions.  We looked at improper fractions and mixed numbers too.  We have been measuring and calculating perimeter at the end of the week.  In English, we generated questions and learnt the difference between open and closed types.  We wrote in role as seagulls, and used reasoning to discuss different ideas to get rid of the Iron Man.  In Topic, we explored countries, counties and cities of the UK.  In computing, we recorded sentences and played them back to each other; it was strange hearing back our own voices.  We looked at artwork that depicts Penetcost, and analysed meanings behind the pictures in RE.  We found out what plants need to grow and have set up an experiment about this in Science.
